We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at Sodexo. As a Part-time Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutritional care to residents of skilled nursing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized nutritional care to residents, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
- Conduct wellness events, including cooking demonstrations and educational lectures, to promote healthy living among residents.
- Meet and exceed DOH/state/federal and company standards for nutrition and food safety.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with medical and nursing staff, promoting effective communication and coordination.
- Support the food service operation as needed, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation and delivery.
- Registered Dietitian credentials, with eligibility to become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Senior living experience, with a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges of this setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
