Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at Sirmax North America Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality raw materials from reliable vendors, negotiating prices and contracts, and managing purchase orders and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate prices and contracts, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
- Purchase Order Management: Update delivery dates, manage reminders to suppliers, and prepare purchase orders or other agreements as necessary.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Review acknowledgements for agreement with purchase orders, resolve any discrepancies with the supplier, and follow up on tracking goods and materials.
- Invoice Exception Resolution: Review and resolve invoice exceptions as expressed by Accounts Payable.
- Education: College or Technical Degree (or equivalent gained from 2+ years of Supply Chain Procurement experience)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years related Supply Chain experience
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP, strong organizational and excellent communication skills
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting, computer usage (90%)
