Job Description

The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit faith-based organization, has a job opening for Assistant Store Director. The role involves supervising store employees and participating in day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. This role offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, along with benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, and Hearing Insurance plans; Group Life Insurance; Retirement Benefits; Education Assistance; and Paid Vacation Days.

Responsibilities
- Supervise store employees and participate in day-to-day operations
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
- Maintain the neatness and attractiveness of store merchandise

Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Experience working in a retail store preferred
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in the English language
- Ability to operate a cash register

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of effective customer service techniques
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of basic mathematics
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in the English language
- Ability to operate a cash register
