Job Summary:

As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities and develop treatment plans to address any deficits or disorders
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients in their homes, using a variety of techniques and strategies to promote communication and swallowing skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and communicate with families and caregivers to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and research in speech therapy
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current licensure in the state of employment
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Speech Therapist in a home health or acute care setting
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and navigate stairs
