Key Responsibilities:
As a Family Law Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include:

  • Advocating for clients in court, mediations, and negotiations concerning family law issues such as divorce, child custody, alimony, and asset distribution.
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and other essential legal paperwork.
  • Conducting thorough legal research to support cases and provide informed legal counsel to clients.
  • Collaborating with senior attorneys to devise and implement case strategies aimed at achieving optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong client relationships, keeping them informed and ensuring their needs are addressed.
  • Staying abreast of the latest trends and changes in family law and engaging in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Admission to the bar in Massachusetts is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in family law practice, demonstrating a successful track record.
  • Proficient in mediation and negotiation techniques.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing capabilities.
