Job Title: Irrigation Installation Technician

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to join Environmental Management Inc as an Irrigation Installation Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing new underground irrigation systems for residential and commercial clients. With a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, you will work closely with our Landscape Project Managers and Operations Manager to ensure efficient site maintenance and adherence to EMI budget guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and supervise Crew Members on equipment operation and safety procedures.
  • Coordinate and prioritize daily work schedules with Project Managers.
  • Obtain necessary paperwork and job files prior to starting new jobs.
  • Complete daily paperwork, including timesheets, T&M tickets, field reports, and accident reports.
  • Maintain tool inventory and coordinate equipment damage with Project Managers.
  • Conduct safety tailgate meetings and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Assist Project Managers in identifying up-sell opportunities.
  • Oversee daily job site quality control and communicate with Project Managers.
  • Prepare and plan the next day's work.
  • Evaluate Crew Members and certify individual training tasks.
  • Manage and delegate responsibility.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • CLT/CLIA certification (or in the process of obtaining certifications).
  • OSHAA 30hr certification.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, wet or humid conditions, and working near moving mechanical parts.

Work Environment:

This role requires working in a fast-paced outdoor environment with regular exposure to noise, vibration, and risk of electric shock. The employee must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and hear. The employee is frequently required to talk and communicate with colleagues and customers.

Physical Demands:

This role requires the employee to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and hear. The employee is frequently required to talk and communicate with colleagues and customers.
