Position Summary

The primary role of the Fabricator in our Trench Division is to conduct routine repairs and maintenance on various construction machinery to minimize client downtime. While most repairs will occur in the workshop, there may be instances requiring fieldwork. This position demands proficient skills in stick and wire-fed welding, alongside capabilities in gas welding and brazing with steel or brass rods. You will apply these skills to work on electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems, as well as diesel and gas engines and drive trains.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Prior welding experience (electric arc 'stick', gas welding, and brazing) is essential.
  • Ability to utilize mathematics for problem-solving and verifying measurements.
  • Commitment to high-quality standards; take pride in your work.
  • Previous mechanical knowledge of construction equipment is advantageous.
  • Physical readiness is crucial; the role involves significant physical activity (lifting, bending, standing).
