Resident Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Resident Therapist to join our team at Stephanie Buchanan LLC, a private practice agency in Fairfax City. As a Resident Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including youth and adults, and provide holistic counseling services that address the mind, body, community, and social relations impacting their well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Counseling from a Virginia institution and experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and substance abuse. Familiarity with CBT, psychodynamic, solution-focused, and DBT techniques is a plus.
As a Resident Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individual and family therapy sessions, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans. You will also have the opportunity to work with a board-approved supervisor to ensure your growth and development as a therapist.
