Pediatric Emergency Center RN Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Emergency Center RN to join our team at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. As a Pediatric Emergency Center RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to children of all ages, from infants to adolescents, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the emergency center, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Preferred experience in pediatric and/or Emergency.
  • BLS certification provided by AHA.
