APS Team Overview:
The APS Team within Pubtech aids publishers in maximizing monetization and yield. APS provides access to Amazon marketing expenditure and extends cloud-based platform technology, enabling publishers to optimize revenue across various devices and media channels while improving user experience.
Role Overview:
The APS Strategic Pubs Engineering team is dedicated to developing product suites that connect large publishers and walled gardens to Amazon Demand, aiming to deliver additional value for both Publishers and Amazon Demand. This position offers the chance to establish a new business and shape the future of Amazon advertising with a select group of new Publishers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a passion for innovation and delivering high-quality products.
- Exhibit proficiency in asynchronous programming, multithreading, and design patterns.
- Possess experience with complex high-performance systems in Java.
- Familiarity with Ad-Tech and oRTB is advantageous.
A Day in the Life:
- Collaborate with Product and Business teams to define requirements with Publishers.
- Implement features that span multiple teams within the Ad Tech Organization.
- Work alongside Product Engineers to design features that align with business requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of design or architecture experience in both new and existing systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
