Job Summary:
Lubbock Heart Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and attention to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs and goals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure in the state of Texas.
- BSN preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in emergency nursing.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
