First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is a premier healthcare organization seeking board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physicians to join their team. As a member of our group, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Role and Responsibilities- Provide a mix of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine services, with the potential to develop a sub-specialized practice.
- Work approximately 75% in the hospital and 25% in office-based settings, with shifts at both SMH-Sarasota and SMH-Venice Hospitals and respective clinics.
- Share night and weekend coverage equally among the group, with no call responsibilities while working the outpatient rotation.
- Enjoy the support of Advanced Practice Providers and Internal Medicine residents 24 hours a day.
- Work in well-equipped clinics with full PFT lab and ultrasound-guided procedural rooms.
- Collaborate with Board-Certified Sleep Medicine physicians who supervise an accredited sleep lab.
- Have access to a dedicated bronchoscopy suite with state-of-the-art equipment and experienced respiratory therapists.
- Participate in a thoracic oncology program with an active tumor board and multi-disciplinary cancer care lung cancer screening.
- Teach and mentor Florida State University Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine residents and medical students.
- Competitive compensation package, including a base salary, APP supervision stipend, productivity and quality incentive bonuses.
- Relocation allowance and commencement bonus.
- 30 days of PTO per year.
- 5 CME days and $5000 allowance.
