Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Cashier to join our team at Dotty's. As a Retail Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to all customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately operate a cash register, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restocking shelves as needed.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, following proper food safety and handling procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, reporting any discrepancies or issues to management.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling Experience: Experience in a customer service position accepting cash, credit, and debit transactions, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, move frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive work environment.
