About the Role:
Linn Dental LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth, to maintain patients' oral health and prevent disease.
- Take and develop dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Conduct oral cancer screenings to identify potential health risks and provide patients with personalized recommendations for prevention and treatment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care to promote healthy teeth and gums.
- Administer local anesthesia as needed to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Document patient treatment plans, progress, and notes in our dental practice management software to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Requirements:
- Valid dental hygiene license in Pennsylvania.
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software, including Dentrix.
- Knowledge of medical coding systems for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals.
