Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist 2 at Loma Linda University provides exceptional patient care in a compassionate and personalized environment. This role involves administering radiographic and fluoroscopic ionizing radiation to patients, following established protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiography, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities
  • Administer radiographic and fluoroscopic ionizing radiation to patients following prescribed protocols
  • Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies prior to exams
  • Instruct and train clinical students as required
  • Perform quality assurance and fluoroscopy checks, routine x-rays exams, and advanced fluoroscopy exams
  • Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiography from an ARRT-approved program
  • One year of experience in radiography preferred
  • California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
  • California Fluoroscopy Permit required

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple assignments effectively
  • Ability to think critically and pay close attention to detail
Licensures and Certifications

The successful candidate will hold a current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. A California Fluoroscopy Permit is also required.
