Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock, including counting and recording inventory data
- Pack and unpack items for shipment, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
- Verify inventory computations and investigate discrepancies or errors
- Store items in a safe and accessible manner, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Mark stock items with identification tags or labels, using electric marking tools or other labeling equipment
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, and equipment, adhering to safety regulations
- Determine proper storage methods and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities
- Keep accurate records of inventory usage or damage, reporting any issues to supervisors
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
- Dispose of damaged or defective items, or return them to vendors
- Drive company vehicles to pick up incoming stock or deliver products to designated locations
- Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories
- Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- A passion for cycling and a regular riding habit
- The ability to lift bicycles and boxes up to 60lbs
- The ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours a day on concrete floors
- A flexible schedule, including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
What's Nice to Have:
- Experience in shipping and receiving, data entry software, point of sale software, barcode scanners, hand trucks, labeling equipment, manual pallet jacks, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of software such as Shipstation, Shopify, Netsuite, and Lightspeed
- Driving experience with a box truck
