Meat Cutter

Join the team at Hannaford Supermarkets as a Meat Market Cutter. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for performing meat cutting functions, scraping and traying products, cubing steaks, grinding ground meats, and cutting and processing meat according to our Standard Practice Manual. You will also identify, wrap, price, and weigh all meat department items in accordance with specified procedures. Additionally, you will stock the fresh, frozen, and self-service cases with a variety of meat products. Cut and process meat according to our Standard Practice Manual. Identify, wrap, price, and weigh all meat department items. Stock the fresh, frozen, and self-service cases with a variety of meat products. Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register. Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
