Job Overview

At Viking Group, Inc., we're seeking a highly skilled CDL A Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations.

Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Responsibilities
  • Loading and Delivery: Load Company vehicles with finished goods and deliver them to customers' shops or job sites in accordance with all licensing and DOT regulations.
  • Equipment Operation: May operate boom crane or other truck-mounted equipment if needed, ensuring safe and efficient use.
  • Daily Inspections: Conduct daily required truck inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Log Keeping: Complete driver logs as needed, maintaining accurate records of deliveries and routes taken.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess a valid CDL-A or CDL-B license, along with equipment certifications (crane, industrial truck).
  • Driving Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a previous driving position, demonstrating safe driving practices and adherence to company policies.
  • Skill Set: Basic keypad and/or keyboard skills, basic arithmetic skills using whole numbers and decimals, and the ability to multitask effectively under time constraints.
