Multilingual Interpreter

Certified Languages International (CLI) is a leading provider of world-class interpreting services, serving thousands of organizations across the country. We're seeking a skilled Mandarin Telephonic Interpreter to join our team of freelance interpreters.

The position involves providing 100% over-the-phone interpretation, with a high volume of calls, mostly medical in nature, for clients in various industries such as insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts.

We offer a competitive salary range of $40-$60 per hour, paid on a per-minute basis, twice a month, on the 15th and last day of the month. Direct Deposit is available; otherwise, payment is issued via check.

To be eligible, you must meet all requirements to work in the United States legally (SSN or EIN & Photo ID required) and reside in the United States. A landline phone is required due to heavy call volume after accepting the contract offer.

You'll need a minimum of two years of professional interpreting experience (preferably Over the Phone Interpreting). CLI's Language Assessment is comprised of medical terminology and role play scenarios, which is a requirement for all interpreters.
