Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess facility design needs based on activity levels, product dimensions, flow, and transportation methods.
  • Conduct time studies, workforce analyses, downtime evaluations, and efficiency enhancement plans.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and optimize workflow; analyze inbound, outbound, and inventory processes to maintain peak warehouse efficiency.
  • Implement value stream mapping and process standardization across various locations.
  • Assist pricing and solutions teams by providing operational cost insights and other critical information for proposals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop analytics for operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with vendors to explore operational equipment and automation solutions.
  • Formulate and oversee project plans for significant operational enhancements.
  • Support the Maintenance department by compiling a list of essential spare parts and tracking daily financial performance.
  • Transform contract documents and proposals into detailed work instructions and operating procedures; ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools such as flow charts and Pareto charts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

  • A Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • The ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence software like Tableau or Power BI.
