Pediatric Rehabilitation Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Rehabilitation Nurse to join our team at the J.D. McCarty Center. As a Pediatric Rehabilitation Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children with developmental disabilities, birth to 21 years of age. Your expertise will be essential in creating and implementing individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, maintaining nursing standards while supporting patients with all applicable medical needs.
  • Assess patients and create care plans that identify areas of improvement to ensure quality of care.
  • Communicate with the patient, their family, and members of the medical team to achieve the desired goals of the patient-care plan.
  • Participate in the initiation, modification, and implementation of the patient's nursing care plans.
  • Develop optimal relationships with patients, families, and staff to promote a positive and supportive environment.
Requirements:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or LPN working on either degree, and a license to practice nursing in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Will serve a 1-year probationary period.
  • Must be in good standing with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
  • Must be able to pass COVID screener and participate in periodic COVID testing and protocols.
