Position Summary

The Electrical Installation Specialist is responsible for the installation of essential electrical systems and equipment, adhering to all relevant plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety: Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures. Seek guidance from supervisors when necessary and halt any unsafe work practices.
  • Productivity: Oversee daily production activities, ensuring timely completion of assigned electrical installation tasks. Collaborate with supervisors to clarify production objectives and maintain accountability for meeting productivity benchmarks.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of all assigned tasks, requesting guidance as needed to meet specifications and standards. Manage installations to comply with all relevant documentation and codes.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of trade-related materials, components, equipment, installation methods, safety protocols, and calculations.
  • Ability to interpret project-related documentation, including plans, specifications, and schematics, to ensure accurate installation.
  • Proficient in utilizing the National Electrical Code (NEC) as a reference for work performance.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Exhibit proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, as well as related equipment.
  • Promote and exemplify safe work practices among colleagues and industry partners.
  • Effectively manage time-sensitive tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted, with potential for increased limits when using appropriate safety equipment or assistance.
  • Job may involve repetitive motions and prolonged periods of various physical activities throughout the workday.
