Position Title:
Adjunct Faculty, Mathematics
Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced adjunct faculty member to join our team as a Mathematics instructor. As a key member of our academic community, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of mathematics courses, including College Algebra, Elementary Statistics, and Calculus.
Responsibilities:
- Teach mathematics courses to undergraduate students, including College Algebra, Elementary Statistics, and Calculus
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments to promote student learning and success
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students to ensure their academic success
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
- Master's degree in Mathematics or related field preferred
- Experience teaching mathematics at the college level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with curriculum development and instructional design
- Knowledge of educational technology and its applications in the classroom
- Ability to adapt to changing curriculum and instructional needs
