Key Responsibilities:- Conduct job evaluations, market analyses, and research to support compensation decisions and program recommendations.
- Maintain accurate job descriptions for all positions within the organization and ensure alignment with job duties performed.
- Identify process improvement and best practice opportunities for business processes.
- Document new procedures and business process workflows.
- Participate in third-party compensation surveys.
- Perform research with peer companies and similar external markets.
- Analyze job profiles and specifications using job evaluation and leveling techniques.
- Align jobs and establish compensation parameters equitable within the organization and competitive to the external market.
- Ensure all reviewed jobs have the proper exemption status, meet compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in compensation with a strong understanding of job evaluation techniques.
- Previous Supply Chain industry experience is helpful, and Railroad industry experience is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively.
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable/Proficient in Compensation Software - Payfactors proficiency is a plus.
