About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Plumbing Engineer to join our team at WSP USA. As a key member of our Property & Buildings Team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and guidance on plumbing systems for infrastructure, building, and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise on plumbing system design, development, and installation for various projects.
  • Conduct research and inspections to ensure compliance with applicable rules, standards, and construction or operating permits.
  • Develop construction and installation plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to explain research, findings, and recommendations.
  • Assist in the analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of data obtained during site investigations.
  • Prepare and implement site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs).
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and maintain quality control standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and prior plumbing and mechanical design experience.
  • Engineer in Training Certification.
  • Proficient knowledge of plumbing and mechanical engineering principles, practices, and processes.
  • Experience with building and infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
  • Working knowledge of relevant plumbing and mechanical system and construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • Essential Professional Licensure/Certification.
  • Experience managing small to mid-size projects.
  • LEED AP Certification.
  • Healthcare experience.
