Senior HRIS Analyst Job Description

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Senior HRIS Analyst to contribute to the success of the Human Resources Information Systems function (HRIS), focused on business process framework, reporting, and security.

This is a US-remote-telework role that requires US Citizenship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS, with experience in Workday and other complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the administration of the Workday system, including integrations, system configurations, security, data audits, and corrections.
  • Lead the design, building, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of system enhancements and automation projects.
  • Consult with departments such as Program HR, Recruiting, Payroll, and IT to develop cooperation and support project requirements.
  • Lead HCM & Recruiting system design and development, including business process framework, domain and role security, and reporting.
  • Regularly perform data audits and validation, and follow up with appropriate teams for corrections.
  • Conduct requirements reviews with HRIS leads and develop processes to meet business needs and drive efficiencies.
  • Support and partner with Senior HRIS Trainer for conducting training, including user guides, training sessions, and videos.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years directly related HRIS experience, with a focus on business process framework, reporting, and security.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Workday.
  • Experience with ADP and Deltek Costpoint, or comparable complex systems.
  • Government contracting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
