About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technician to join our team at St. Joseph's Westgate Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization
  • Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you'll be supporting
  • Adapt to the needs of emergency situations
  • Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient
Qualifications
  • Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience as a surgical technologist
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program and certified as a surgical technologist plus two years clinical experience
