We are currently seeking a Subterranean Plumbing Specialist in the Apex, NC area. The Subterranean Plumbing Specialist will be tasked with trenching, operating heavy machinery, and installing underground piping systems. This position demands precision, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of plumbing regulations and standards.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility required as job demands may vary.

Key Responsibilities of the Subterranean Plumbing Specialist:

  • Install and maintain underground piping systems in compliance with plumbing regulations.
  • Conduct trenching and excavation activities.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to underground plumbing systems, including leaks, blockages, and pipe failures.
  • Follow company and job site safety protocols.
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to effectively plan and execute plumbing tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors and construction teams to coordinate worksite operations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and address client needs promptly.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of plumbing experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to comply with company screening processes.
  • Experience in new construction is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift for extended periods.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Capable of using hands and arms for signaling, gripping, holding, turning, pushing, and pulling objects, materials, controls, and tools.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work from platforms/scaffolding, adhering to fall protection requirements.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must wear required PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, ear protection, masks/respirators, high-visibility vests, gloves, and safety toe, construction-grade boots.
