Job Opportunity at Custom Materials Inc.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with a MasterCam background to join our team at Custom Materials Inc. As a leading provider of custom fabrication services, we require an individual with expertise in creating and modifying 3, 4, and 5 axis machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit, set up, and operate CNC equipment to produce product according to print specifications; programming capabilities a plus
  • Troubleshoot programs including speeds, feeds, and tooling
  • Verify and document in-process work orders
  • Ensure quality product by using necessary measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and pi tapes
  • Basic maintenance on equipment
  • Meet production deadlines by following manufacturing schedule and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school graduate with Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree (BSME) preferred
  • MasterCam, Solidworks, and/or Autocad background to create and modify 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling and turning machines
  • 3-4+ years experience with CNC and CAD/CAM programming software
  • SolidWorks or AutoCad preferred
  • Knowledge to design tooling, fixtures, and provide job quoting
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Blueprint Reading is a must
  • Good Organizational Skills
  • US Citizenship
