Toolmaker

Job Summary: Cypress HCM is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for designing and developing molds and tools to support our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to ensure that our products meet their specifications and requirements.
• Assist customers with part design issues to create more robust designs.
• Develop and document processes to ensure efficient and effective production.
• Work cooperatively with all employees to achieve common goals.
• Take ownership of projects and ensure timely completion.
• Develop and improve mold building techniques to increase efficiency and quality.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform other assignments as required to support the team.

Requirements:

• 2-year trade school with emphasis on tool making or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Mold Designer or Tool Maker.
• Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills and effective business correspondence.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business operating systems.
• Proficient in design and/or programming software such as Creo and Solid works.
• Knowledge of engineering or technical operations and blue print reading.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and solve practical problems.

Compensation: $75,000-$95,000 annually, depending on skills and education.
