Position OverviewAs a Travel RN in the Telemetry unit, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. This position requires a dedicated professional with the ability to adapt to various clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a Telemetry setting.
- Proficiency in Meditech software.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
- Experience with cardiac care is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically MediTech.
- Ability to manage patient ratios effectively.
- Flexibility to float to other Med Surg units as needed.
- Knowledge of cardiac IV drips and chest tube management.
