Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the guidance of the Radiology Director and Medical Director, the Interventional Radiology RN is responsible for assisting in patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments in line with established protocols.
- Maintaining precise documentation of patient information within the radiology department.
- Demonstrating proficiency in the use of patient monitoring equipment and performing emergency procedures as necessary.
- Providing instruction and support to Radiology and Nuclear Medicine students.
- Participating in standby call rotations for interventional procedures.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid registered nurse license in the relevant state or an active compact license.
- Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- A minimum of one year of experience in a critical care setting, including monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
- A degree from an accredited nursing program.
