Job Summary:

As a Diesel Technician at Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on our fleet of trucks. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean and safe facilities for our customers and drivers. Your primary goal will be to provide excellent customer service and ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Loves)

Requirements:

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in close quarters
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Loves)
