  • Conduct field evaluations for accurate estimate preparation.
  • Engage in the estimate review process with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compile bills of materials and related information for procurement purposes.
  • Schedule and conduct site assessments with clients, subcontractors, and construction teams to ascertain project requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across various project documents.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting change orders.
  • Work closely with project management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support construction teams throughout the project lifecycle in understanding the basis of cost estimates.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform essential functions in designated office or field locations.
  • Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, along with relevant industry-specific professional standards.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management and estimating within the electrical sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in interpreting specifications, proposals, and documentation for time/cost/labor estimates.
  • Familiar with the National Electrical Code (N.E.C.) and applicable local regulations.
  • Ability to read and comprehend civil, architectural, structural, and mechanical plans, including blueprints and proposals related to electrical work.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications and estimating software such as Accubid or similar tools.
  • Capable of preparing construction schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A collaborative team player who can effectively engage with diverse internal and external partners.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to maintain focus on tasks over extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
