Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical, sprinkler, and fire suppression systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform testing and maintenance on systems to identify and resolve any issues or defects.
  • Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices to ensure proper operation of equipment.
  • Complete service acknowledgements and input inspection documents via laptop computer or smartphone.
  • Provide technical training to less senior inspectors and trainees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in fire alarm service and maintenance.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs, and operational manuals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems and perform necessary repairs.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service and ability to work well with others.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred NICET II certification or higher.
