Optical Dispensary Specialist

As a Vision Associate, you will play a vital role in providing unsurpassed patient care and contributing to the success of our optical dispensary management and consulting company.

• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses to ensure accurate measurements and optimal patient satisfaction.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing guidance and support to peers to drive business growth and profitability.
• Take and record measurements, adjust or fit eyewear correctly, and ensure finished products meet high standards and patient requirements.
• Explore patient needs and priorities by asking open-ended questions and developing long-term solutions to problems.
• Operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy and attention to detail, managing time and competing priorities to deliver exceptional results.
• Commit to delivering exceptional results on individual and team goals, taking ownership and seeking feedback to improve performance.
• Present and celebrate patient successes, educating them on their eyewear options and promoting a positive customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized dispensary appearance, securing and protecting company assets and demonstrating safe work practices.
• Collaborate effectively with doctors and practice staff to ensure high-level partnership for patient care, adhering to company policies and procedures.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and teamwork.
• Basic math skills and sales skills.
• Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale and patient record systems.
