About the Role

Ciber is seeking a highly skilled.NET developer to join our team. As a senior.NET developer, you will be responsible for developing, administering, and configuring custom-built.NET development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development: Develop, administer, and configure custom-built.NET development projects.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship, and guidance to State personnel for all requested work.
  • Software Improvement: Provide oversight and guidance of the customer-agency's replacement software and make performance improvements.
  • Code Review: Perform code reviews and testing on new code.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
  • Compliance: Cooperate with client's Technical Architect to ensure compliance with client's standards of applications.
Requirements
  • Expertise: Seven (7) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas:
    • C#
    • ASP.NET Core
    • MSSQL
  • Enterprise-Level Experience: Seven (7) plus years enterprise-level software development.
  • Agile Experience: Two (2) plus years of experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
Desirable Skills
  • Oracle Experience: Prior experience or familiarity with Oracle APEX, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Leadership Experience: Has led a team of developers under Microsoft development stack.
  • Accounting Experience: Has previous experience working on accounting based projects.
  • Frontend Experience: Familiarity with frameworks such as Vue, React, NodeJS, Angular, Typescript.
  • Distributed Systems Experience: Experience designing and developing distributed systems (Microservices/SOA).
  • Reporting Experience: Experience developing reports with SSRS or similar tools.
  • DevOps Experience: Experience setting up, maintaining and using DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automating tasks.
  • Version Control Experience: Experience with the Git Version Control System, including branching strategies for complex systems.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
