American Hardwood Industries is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Lumber Stacker / General Laborer. This position is ideal for those with experience in warehouse operations or entry-level labor roles. We offer full-time employment opportunities with a leading hardwood lumber manufacturer.

Responsibilities of Lumber Stacker / General Laborer:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn and punctuality. Responsibilities include:

• Identifying sort numbers for assigned carts and organizing boards accordingly.
• Stacking boards based on specified criteria:
  • Longest boards should be placed on the top, bottom, and outside.
  • All edges must be free from knots, wane, writing, and other imperfections.
  • Bundles should be square, with edge boards aligned against the cart pipes.
  • Complete each bundle and finish with a neat top layer.
  • Push completed bundles for forklift removal.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the work area, including under and around chains and carts on the production line.
• Performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications for Lumber Stacker / General Laborer:

• Preferred previous experience in warehouse operations.
• Entry-level work experience is advantageous.
• Experience in agricultural settings is a plus.
• A high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
