Key Responsibilities:
- Execute advanced troubleshooting and preventative maintenance tasks. This includes observing equipment in operation to identify issues, disassembling machinery to access and replace faulty components, inspecting parts for defects, adjusting functional elements, and conducting performance tests on devices.
- Source and identify necessary parts and supplies, while evaluating alternatives to enhance equipment reliability and cost-effectiveness. Develop proposals for equipment upgrades or retrofits.
- Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with industry standards and develop maintenance protocols for new or modified manufacturing equipment.
- Guide customer teams in optimizing maintenance practices, enhancing reliability, and implementing preventative maintenance strategies.
- Set up and operate various machining tools, including lathes and grinders, to fabricate and repair components, as well as perform welding when required.
- Adhere to customer-specific codes of conduct, safety standards, and housekeeping protocols.
- Document maintenance activities in service reports and management systems, providing detailed explanations of observations and performance data. Compile technical manuals and maintenance procedures related to equipment upgrades.
- Support junior technicians and lead project teams, contributing to training and development initiatives.
- Diagnose and resolve complex control system issues, addressing both software and hardware challenges.
- Utilize advanced maintenance technologies to gather and analyze equipment performance data, identifying trends and making informed recommendations.
- Conduct on-the-job training and lead technical development programs for both customers and colleagues.
- Follow all safety policies and regulations, maintaining situational awareness to identify unsafe practices and conditions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Associate's degree with a technical focus and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or 15 years of experience in the industry.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems, with the ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, specialized equipment, and programming software as needed.
- Willingness to travel extensively, with candidates able to reside anywhere within the continental U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with condition-based maintenance, precision mechanical alignments, and automation integration.
- Strong background in programmable logic controllers, troubleshooting field devices, and maintaining electrical drive systems.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires regular standing, walking, and the use of hands for handling equipment.
