Job Summary:

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a multidisciplinary healthcare organization seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Pelvic and Orthopedic Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a range of conditions, including pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and colorectal disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans to address their specific conditions.
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation, patient education, and communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Operate equipment related to patient care, including electrical stimulation units, and direct patients in mobility and strengthening exercises.
  • Instruct family members, physical therapy assistants, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.

Requirements:

  • NY Licensed Physical Therapist
  • Passion for women's and men's pelvic health
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in pelvic floor rehabilitation and 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting
  • Women's health certification is a plus
  • Strong manual skills and mandatory certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR
