Job SummaryAs an EP Technician Days, you will be responsible for performing interventional and diagnostic cardiovascular procedures, including pacemaker and AICD implantations, under the direction of a cardiologist and registered nurse. You will also be responsible for the safe operation of cardiovascular and radiographic equipment, applying principles and practices of asepsis at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Perform interventional and diagnostic cardiovascular procedures, including pacemaker and AICD implantations
- Operate cardiovascular and radiographic equipment safely and effectively
- Apply principles and practices of asepsis at all times
- Collaborate with cardiologists and registered nurses to deliver exceptional patient care
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate degree in a related field
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification
