Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional status and physical therapy needs, working closely with physicians to develop effective therapy plans.
  • Provide physical therapy services within the scope of practice, as defined by state laws, and in coordination with other healthcare team members.
  • Monitor patients' progress, reporting any changes in condition to supervising nurses and physicians.
  • Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum functioning, using accepted standards of practice.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding therapy plans, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.
Requirements
  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Washington.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, with access to a dependable vehicle.
