Position Overview
The Retail Merchandising Specialist is tasked with showcasing products in a manner that captivates consumers at various retail outlets. This role involves servicing and managing multiple accounts by effectively merchandising approved items and packaging while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. The ability to follow merchandising plans and communicate effectively with store management and cross-functional teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Restocks, organizes, and displays products according to established procedures and promotional programs.
- Physically transports products from storage areas to display locations.
- Creates and places point-of-sale materials where permitted, ensuring product rotation and display integrity.
- Maintains backroom organization by categorizing products by type and flavor, and managing the return of empty pallets and outdated items.
- Builds and nurtures relationships with store personnel through regular follow-ups, proactive pricing strategies, and discussions on new opportunities.
- Strong communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a retail environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to meet the diverse needs of customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting (lifting up to 50 lbs regularly).
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong critical thinking abilities.

- Valid in-state driver's license.
- Proven safe driving record.
- Current insurance policy covering liability and property damage.
- Outstanding driving history.
