We are seeking an experienced House Supervisor to join our team at LifePoint Hospitals. This is a dynamic leadership role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
  • Determines staffing level and assignments based on staff availability, staff abilities, census, patient acuity, and work/patient flow.
  • Provides direct patient care as needed.
  • Floats between staff to assist with problem-solving.
  • Takes patient assignments to meet staffing needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Associate's degree - Required. An Active RN License with KBN or a Compact RN License will confirm the presence of degree.
  • Required Skills: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Handle with Care (Physical Training), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), ENPC, NRP, NIHSS.
  • Licenses: State of KY current unrestricted RN license.
  • Minimum Work Experience: Five years previous acute care experience.

$75,000 - $95,000 per year
