Join Our Team as a Food Scientist I

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Scientist I to join our Grande Custom Ingredients Group (GCIG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for formulating applications solutions for our customers using functional whey ingredients across multiple product categories.

In this role, you will apply your knowledge of Food Science principles to develop prototypes and make customer presentations that communicate the value of GCIG ingredients. You will also execute time-sensitive customer-focused projects to support the sales team.

We are looking for a creative and solutions-focused individual with a strong background in Food Science or a related field. If you have a passion for dairy-based applications and a desire to drive your career forward, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop prototypes and make customer presentations
  • Execute time-sensitive customer-focused projects
  • Apply Food Science principles to formulate applications solutions
Requirements:
  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or related field
  • Broad-base scientific skills and knowledge
  • Effective writing, presentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Food Science or related field
  • Experience in food product development, especially with dairy or functional ingredients
