Key ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate a strong enthusiasm for addressing complex design challenges, as each propulsion system will present distinct radar cross section specifications that necessitate customized solutions.
Collaborate with a leadership figure who prioritizes the successful execution of current projects while fostering the development of a premier design team prepared for future production endeavors.
As required, oversee the design, development, and construction of full-scale radar cross section models of designated representative components for compact radar range assessments.
Perform radar cross section evaluations utilizing proprietary predictive software and industry-standard CAD/meshing tools.
Effectively communicate and prioritize multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Ensure comprehensive documentation of technical data produced for assigned projects in accordance with engineering standards and protocols.
QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited institution (advanced degrees are preferred).
A minimum of four years of experience in an RCS engineering design role.
Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top-Secret Clearance.
Preferred AttributesThriving in a dynamic and rapidly changing military environment, with the ability to adapt or reallocate priorities as business demands evolve.
Experience in designing specialized components aimed at minimizing radar cross section in structures.
Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (such as UG, Patran, Hypermesh) with experience in surface and volumetric meshing.
Familiarity with RCS scattering phenomena and experience utilizing high-frequency Physical Optics codes and/or full-wave based codes.
Experience in RCS range measurements and model design and fabrication is highly advantageous.
This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers will be contingent upon the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
