We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers for Home Care Services in the Glendale community and surrounding areas.
This is a safety-sensitive role that requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement client care plans with understanding and accuracy.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, including companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, shopping, medication reminders, bathing, body care, dressing, feeding, ambulation, positioning, transferring, toileting, and protective supervision.
- Communicate effectively with the Care Manager and Staffing Coordinator regarding client concerns, changes in care or client condition, and client emergencies.
- Adhere to company Infection Control practices and notify the office of any safety concerns.
- Accurately clock in and out for scheduled shifts and update task status for each client prior to clocking out.
- Conform to the company dress code and report to work on-time and ready for the day.
- Participate in ongoing training as required by client care needs and/or changes in company policies and procedures.
- Attend staff meetings and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Organizational Relationship
The Caregiver is supervised by the Care Manager and receives scheduling direction from the Staffing Coordinator.
Physical and Environmental Demands
The Caregiver must be able to reposition and transfer clients, sustain the weight of clients using proper transfer safety techniques and equipment, and travel to client residences using a reliable means of transportation.
Classification
This is a non-exempt position.
