Position Summary:

The successful candidate will possess a pristine driving record, a strong dedication to safety, and excellent time management skills.

As a Truck Driver, your primary responsibility will be to transport goods and materials to various locations, ensuring that deliveries are made accurately and on time while upholding the highest standards of safety and customer service.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate company vehicles to deliver goods and materials to designated locations.
  • Ensure timely and precise deliveries while following assigned routes and schedules.
  • Safely load and unload cargo, maintaining the integrity of the shipment.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles to confirm they are in optimal working condition.
  • Promptly report any vehicle issues, accidents, or traffic violations to the supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the truck at all times.
  • Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
  • Follow safety protocols to guarantee the secure handling and transportation of goods.
  • Keep accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, and incidents as required by company policies and regulations.
  • Engage professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries.
  • Address customer inquiries or issues promptly and communicate them to the supervisor.
  • Ensure that delivery documentation is completed accurately and submitted.
  • Plan routes effectively to enhance efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Adapt to changing conditions and traffic patterns to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
  • Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional driving skills with a firm commitment to safety.
  • Ability to navigate using GPS and other routing technologies.
  • Good physical condition with the capability to lift and move heavy loads.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
