Position Overview

Ashland Health Center is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel assignment in a Critical Access Hospital. This role is ideal for an experienced LPN looking to contribute to long-term care.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS certification is mandatory.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • TNCC and PALS certifications are preferred.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide care in a long-term care setting.
  • Work a 12-hour day shift schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with certification requirements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in long-term care.
  • Proficiency with CERNER electronic health records is essential.
Work Schedule
  • 12-hour shifts, with a rotating schedule of 6 days on and 8 days off.
  • Shifts may vary during holiday weeks.
  • No requests for time off during peak periods.
Unit Specific Information
  • The nurse will oversee evening medication administration.
  • Support staff will be available during shifts.
  • The nurse will not be alone in the facility at any time.
Additional Information
  • This is a 16-week contract position.
