Position Summary: We are seeking a caring and committed individual to join our team in providing support to an adult with special needs. The individual is nonverbal, utilizes a wheelchair with limited mobility, experiences seizures, and requires assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in caregiving and a deep understanding of the requirements of individuals with both physical and developmental challenges.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with mobility needs, including transferring to and from a wheelchair.
  • Monitor seizure activity and ensure the individual's safety at all times.
  • Support toileting needs and change briefs as necessary.
  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary requirements.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to uphold a clean and safe living environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field.
  • Capability to lift and assist with transfers.
  • Exhibit patience and maintain a positive demeanor.
  • Ability to successfully complete a Level Two Background Check.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time employment
  • 30 hours per week
  • 6-hour shifts
  • Hours from 9 AM to 3 PM
